My wife started shaving bald a few years ago. I actually encourage her to let her legs "swing open" and just enjoy. She's described the feeling as a combination of "relaxing and titillating"; as her vulva is exposed to the "elements."
She doesn't always sunbathe that way with a lot of people around. But being bald, she knows her vulva is frequently seen at the resort. So if someone happens to walk by while she's spread with her pussy exposed; it's not a big deal to her. For me, it's just plain fun.
