In almost all cases, even a small amount of labial reduction can lead to a drastic reduction or complete elimination of pleasurable sensations of the vulva. It is commonly performed in many African and Middle Eastern countries, particularly those influenced by fundamental Islamic beliefs. They do it because they think that a woman who enjoys sexual pleasures is a "wh?re". In their "world" it is OK for a male to enjoy sexual pleasures but not for a woman. Very f??ked up misogynistic belief set.
