Space was maybe 8x8 feet? Including the shower area. There was a towel hook, so we could grab our towels from inside the stall. We did so the first few times, but our standards seemed to slip over time... so she'd be walking out fully nude and toweling off before getting dressed, no towel wrap. Yes, there was some bumping/minor touching when changing. Nothing too exciting (no dick/pussy contact) but a couple times there was enough of a brush by to make me suddenly need to start thinking about arithmetic
