It was two weeks before she was allowed to visit Travis in prison. She was horrified and heartbroken when she saw his appearance. He had a black eye and a swollen lip; it was obvious he had been attacked in some way. She knew a young slight built young man in prison could be a target of bullies and worst. When she asked him what happened to him, he hung his head and wept, telling her, "I slipped and fell."
When Mika walked out of the facility, a guard handed her an envelope. When she read the note all it had on it as a phone number. It took her two days to get the courage up to call the number, on the other end was a deep voice of a stranger. She was dismayed by what he told her.
