Travis and Mika's youthful bliss is interrupted when Travis is arrested for a crime he didn't commit. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time and paid dearly for it. Because he had no prior convictions the judge was lenient and only sentenced him to only 9 months. Their lovemaking the night before he went away to prison had a desperation to it.
