The first few years at C/O resorts, my wife would also wear a sarong/cover up - every single time we'd go for a walk or leave the pool area. I'd suggested she just stay naked; which she always declined.
During COVID the only resort open in our area was "nudity-expected." She was a bit hesitant to go somewhere where she knew she'd be expected to be naked the entire time; but she agreed to give it a shot. Once we got there, she saw that indeed everyone was naked all around the resort. So in order to "rip off the band-aid", she decided for us to go on a long walk around the resort; so she could "acclimate" to walking around naked.
And it worked. Basically, by having to stay naked, she just lost the inclination to cover up (unless it got too cold). And even if it gets chilly, she'll wear a mesh cover-up that she just leaves completely open to keep her "naked vibe" going. She's actually pretty "anti-shyness" now and feels that nudism should mean "completely naked" for everyone.
