I tried to subtly check them out without being obvious. The German girls put on suits and got in, ending the show. I noticed some college guys chatting with them in the spring lol. Some other people changed on the side, but most were older and not quite as hot to watch (unless you’re just into voyeur like me lol).
Later in the trip, my gf told me she was really tempted when we got out of the spring to change right there back into her clothes, but she got too shy at the last moment. I would have loved that. But there’s always potential in the future

This brings back memories. I have been to Iceland twice, including two visits to Landmannalaugar (fairly sure that's where your story takes place).
On my first visit, I, like you changed in the shower area before going in. When I exited, I changed back on the small deck next to the spring, under a towel. while there, I saw a group of French girls changing. They would strip down to only thong or g-string, and change the bottom under a towel. So lovely tits and great butts on display.
On my second time in Landmannalaugar, it was off season and post COVID, so there were very few people there. However, I do remember a couple of German girls changing on that deck. We were getting late for the afternoon bus out of there, so not much time to change. She finished dressing up, and hung around while I was changing under my towel. She was really embarrassed, but also tried to take it lightly. That's when I dropped my towel (complete accident caused by a strong gust of wind). It wasn't intentional, but I can't say I wasn't turned on. I finished getting dressed and we hiked back down to the car park while laughing about the whole thing.
