That picture is perfect for her stated purpose.
That said, I know I'm late for the party, but I would have suggested the third one (full frontal, covered top half) but crop out any of the "fur" on the bottom. Reasons?
1) In the interest of cropping, due to the angle of the camera & her pose, it would make a much easier task of cropping for you than the others
2) It's full frontal, which means a clear, unobstructed view of "the kitty", something he will appreciate
