How do you treat erectile dysfunction?
My husband is mid 50s, reasonably fit, and has had ED for a few years now. He doesn't respond to anyone else either. I try to be accommodating and am happy to get him hard with fellatio, but I miss him being spontaneous and taking charge.
He isn't liking the idea of Viagra, but if anyone cares to share their experience with Viagra, herbal supplements, acupuncture, etc, I'd be grateful.
My neighbour said he'd be happy to fuck my brains out in front of my husband and suggested the shock treatment would cure the erection trouble. I'm suspicious of his motives... he never offered to help with anything else. Has anyone else heard of shock treatment except as a joke?
I am 73 years old and suffered from ED for about 20 years. About 3 years ago I went to a urologist to see if he could help me. We tried several things that did work for me but were not totally satisfactory. Due to other medications I take Viagra was not an option. The one thing that worked was to inject a drug into my penis. It gave me a decent erection for an hour or two but just seemed to be too barbaric. After trying the injections for a month or so I decided to get a penile implant. This is major surgery and it was extremely painful for about 6 weeks, but I cannot be any happier. I am now able to get an erection at any time I wish and I can maintain that erection for as long as I want, lasting weeks if I so desired. The surgery is expensive but because of my age Medicare paid for almost all of it. My final bill for the urologist was less than $100. There are options out there, and my suggestion for any man suffering from ED is to consult with a urologist and explore what is available. Some options are very inexpensive, some are very costly, but the doctor will work with your husband to find a solution.
