I was on a gymnastics team. We had costumes for practice and for meets. You were not supposed to wear anything under the costume. The judges would take off if they saw anything. All the coaches were men, but they had a couple of women for assistants and they would measure us for the costumes. They were always at least one or two sizes too small. You had on clothes, but everything showed. The men would pick out the costumes for the boys. They would wear skin tight shirts and very tight shorts. But the leg opening were wide. We guessed that if we were not allowed to wear underwear they wouldn't be. So when we had breaks in practice we would sit almost under the high bar. When the boys were up on the bar doing their tricks they might as well been naked we saw it all.
