This is a hairy experience from a few years ago.
I had a good female platonic friend (she was a lesbian) in her mid twenties (like me) who I used to hang out with. We'd done some late night skinny dipping in a group once and I had seen her naked in other non-sexual contexts. Was happy to see that she had a huge bush, the kind that extends to the thighs and had a bit of a treasure trail. At the time, and still now, it wasn't unusual for women here in Sweden to have a natural bush, especially if you're a bit alternative/hippy.
I love a good bush and in another context it would have been a huge turn-on, but like I said we were only friends and nothing was ever going to happen between us. Still nice to see though.
Anyway once we were traveling to Germany together,we were both doing our own trips for different reasons but travelled the first leg together from Sweden to Germany. I had heard about this great spa near where the ferry arrives in Germany outside Lübeck and asked her if we should check it out on our way through, she was up for it. We both knew it was a nude spa and were cool with that.
I was excited about the spa but also happy to be spending a few hours naked with my friend, who i had only seen naked in passing before, never for such a prolonged period.
We were cheapskates so didn't want to rent gowns as well as paying the entry fee, we just brought our own towels instead.
We got changed together and we both got naked very casually, of course I looked but I didn't stare. My friend was tall, quite skinny. Dark brunette.She had small breasts with small nippples, very pert. And then of course the huge dark bush, it was a wonder to behold. The hair was long enough to have real curls in it, when you saw her from the side the bush stuck out a good inch or so.
Now, I was prepared for being a little bit turned on all afternoon by hanging out with this lovely hairy friend naked. But what I wasn't prepared for and what turned out to be an unexpected bonus was the fact that she was pretty much the only hairy woman in this whole place. Neither of us had been to any kind of naked setting in Germany before, I had no idea that shaving was so universal in Germany and i don't think she knew either.
She definitely turned a few heads, both men and women, people were even doing double takes when she for example stood up from a pool and suddenly revealed the bush. I think one young couple were maybe whispering about it. My friend definitely noticed but didn't really care. She made one comment during the whole visit, something like "what do they have against pubes in this country" but we didn't talk about it at all.
It seemed that a little while into our visit, maybe after 45 minutes, she spent a while trying to cover her bush when she could (our towels weren't so big, she had to choose between bush and boobs to cover, not both). But after a while she (I assume) decided to go with the flow and not care.
As is the way it was totally non-sexual for me in the moment, but it's been a fun memory to look back on, when I brought a massive Swedish bush with me to the hairless German spa. I'd like to think that someone else who was there that day also still remembers seeing it.
We lost touch after a few years when I moved to a different city, I don't know what she's up to now but I'm sure the bush is still as big as ever.
