Artist Lucía Núñez created a performance piece called "HE DICHO QUE NO" (“I SAID NO”), featuring a wedding dress and bouquet made from reused tote bags. The piece explores themes like rejecting expectations, sustainability, and personal choice, especially around marriage.
She performed it at the Centro Cultural Manuel Benito Moliner in Huesca. During one of the showings, the dress accidentally fell apart in front of the audience, leaving her exposed. It was an emotional and vulnerable moment.
Later, she shared the incident on her own social media, calling it an “involuntary performance.” Instead of hiding it, she embraced it as part of the work, reflecting on how her body expressed what words couldn't. The accident became a meaningful extension of her message about vulnerability, strength, and truth.
