Went to a woman's house to pick up some stuff she was storing for a friend. Beautiful, 120+ year old house, in the heart of the city, floor to ceiling windows, just amazing! She gave us a tour for a solid half hour.
She didn't have a single curtain in the entire house. Not one!
Even the bathroom where she would obviously step out of the shower, directly up against a floor to ceiling window facing her backyard in perfect view of at least five other houses with zero obstruction! Even if the shower steam fogged up the window, people would see her getting into the shower. Not likely to see much during the summer months, but during the winters here, it's dark until 9am and dark again at 4pm, so surely they would see her no matter when she showered unless she showered in total darkness without the light on.
And her bedroom. No curtain. Her bed against a window, and the room is in the corner of the house, so people from multiple sides could see her dressing or doing things with special overnight guests with no where to hide!
It bummed me out because that is two houses I have been in recently where close neighbors get a show any time they want, and I am never that lucky!
