Match dot com for me. Ran into some crazies. One I dated for several months, and as hot and fast as it started it suddenly ended. To this day, I wonder WTF happened.
Anyway, back to topic. Met the Mrs at a bowling alley. She was on a league, after we had a few, she a few more than me. She walked me to my truck, and demanded I kiss her... if you can't kiss good, then you won't be able to do anything else good. Who am I to argue? 2nd "date" was her coming to watch my nephew play basketball at her hometown high school. My parents were there, and dad literally captured her and at the end of the night told me we're keeping her, figure it out. This was only 18 months after ending an awful 10 yr marriage to a true nut case and difficult divorce. 3rd time meeting, and literally our first real date. We and three other couples flew out to dinner. I had my own airplane as did a friend. At the restaurant, she went to use the bathroom, and came back to a table suddenly in dead silence. She boldly asked were you talking about me, and receiving confirmation from me, she said, ok share it with me too
. She came back to my house and we literally barely got in the door with clothes coming off. Wonderful woman, and 22 years later, we are happier today than the day we got married. The irony, we're pretty sure we ran into each other several years earlier. Even funnier, when I first contacted her on Match, she literally said to herself, why is he contacting me, we'll never get along.
