Absolutely - you just get a vibe..
There are some that are as you state respectful and appreciative… a look and smile a little sense of intrigue and a noted interest.
A shared connection of sorts.
Others just seem invasive and abrasive.
Leering and pushing into your space uninvited our socially awkward to a fault - they just don’t take negative queue's that it’s too intrusive, move on by already.
For the most part the the beach regulars manage some of that - and are pretty protective of the single ladies for sure.
I’ve seen them step in and move people along.
