There's definitely a difference between a "pervy" look and an "appreciative" look.
I've come close to physical confrontation when my wife has been the recipient of a pervy look (which has mostly happened at the nude beach). Appreciative looks - when my wife is completely naked at the resort and confident being seen "exposed" - are on the other hand always welcome and even encouraged.
That might seem contradictory; but it's really about respect.
