Something similar happened with my wife a few years back. She would always buy swimwear which was wide enough around the crotch area to cover her full bush, but as the hair was quite long she always had to push back some hairs which otherwise would be sticking out, so everything would be covered.
We were at the beach for a few hours and she was laying on a beach chair when I noticed a few hairs sticking out at the left side of her one-piece, so I told her. She quickly pushed the hair back and thanked me for letting her know.
Last year, she started shaving again, so nowadays it's always fully shaved, and she started wearing thong bikinis, so it's a big change compared to the full bush she had for years.
