First picture shows approach down a little hill to Howell, but the second, showing Denny-Blaine Park, illustrates (without, alas, what I saw - had no way to capture it except in memory!) the view, where two women were toutes nues in front of that low retaining wall, beyond which was most of the nudity, screened from view unless one went right up to the edge to look over.

Ah, but no: they're baaack, as reported today in various Seattle-area media at, for example, capitolhillseattle.com/2025/04/keep-denny-blaine-nude-neighbors-sue-city-over-public-masturbation-public-sex-and-other-types-of-indecent-exposure-drug-use-unlawful-public-nudity-environmental-damage-to-the-shoreline-and-sco/ (how's that for a url?). Cynics may point to this phrase in the complaint “Approximately ten years ago, the Park began being used by people from outside the neighborhood for public nudity..." as revealing the true objection they have: non-neighborhood people deigning to sully the sensibilities of "our sort" (i.e. those with net worth north - often far north - of 50 million dollars) by having the audacity to use a public park for getting nekkid.
