As someone who does a bit of photo restoration I was interested in this pic but became a bit suspicious about the "damage". Not many prints actually end up that bad.
A reverse image search turns it up in a few places in colour, some flipped horizontally.

I hope you didn't waste too much time on it. The background has been filled in as well.
I have seen this "old photo" effect before so it's worth watching out for to save yourself trouble.

It is possible that this version has been colourised given the the hideous orange everywhere but I don't know why anyone would bother.
