I had a similar experience. I was dating a gal from work. We would sometimes go out clubbing with a girlfriend of hers who also worked at the same company. After a few months I broke up with my girlfriend but ended up marrying her girlfriend a year later. Go figure. One Friday night the three of us went clubbing. We would take my car since club parking was usually an issue. After a few hours we happened to run into a another co-worker and his friends. He was an older guy and a well known womanizer. He started to hit on my girlfriend but she ignored him. So he turned his attention to her girlfriend (my future wife). She was more receptive and a bit drunk by this time. I pointed it out to my girlfriend and she tried talking with my future wife. I assumed to warn her off this guy. It didn't work. When my girlfriend and I went to leave a bit later we tried to get my future wife to come with us but she stayed with the womanizer and his friends. I drove back to work so my girlfriend could get her car. My future wife's car was parked next to my girlfriend's car. I ended up getting called into work that Sunday and was surprised to see my future wife's car still parked in the same spot. I told my girlfriend and she just shook her head.
When I was dating my future wife I brought up the incident but she claims to not remember it.
