Hi, we are a couple from Luxemburg and posted several times about saunas and Spas in Luxemburg and Germany.
On a regular basis, we visit a spa (Thermalbad) in Trier in Germany but not far away from the Luxemburg Border.
We completely agree with you that in Germany it is normal for family members to see each other naked.
During our last visit, we saw a couple of Germans with their 2 daughters, they also visit this spa on a regular basis, they are very friendly and we already had the opportunity to speak with them at the bar drinking fresh fruit juices. The bar is the only place where the mother wrapped a towel around her waist. Walking around the floors between the different saunas and hammams she is always completely naked. We also observed that this woman (mother), from the first week of September 2024 on, had shaved her pubic hair, not only the classic bikini line or a larger stripe, but a full shave with the pubic mound completely smooth. In this sauna it is not very common to see women without pubic hair. During a conversation at the bar, the subject of pubic shaving came up. She told us that she thought about it for some time ago but hesitated to do a full pubic shave. During the first 2 weeks in August 2024 she went with her family to the large naturist resort of Cap d'Agde in South of France. Before leaving to Cap d'Agde she had shaved herself underneath (the outer labia) nearly completely and also a larger part on the pubic mound, but still keeping a sort of neatly trimmed bush. Arriving at Cap d'Agde, she decided to shave herself completely the second day before going to the nude beach. She told us that she took an appointment for the second day after her arrival at a beauty salon inside the naturist resort of Cap d'Agde offering full pubic waxing for both women and men. The appointment was sheduled at 10am in the morning and the esthetician was very professional. At first she asked her to take a shower and then lay nude on a sort of massage table. The esthetician asked her if she had shaved herself completely in the past as some of her clients after being complexed waxed are afraid to see that their labia and outer lips and often the clitoralhood are now clearly visible. Our friend answered her she had never shaved completely, that the trimmed bush she has actually, she had done before coming to Cap d'Agde. She has decided to try the smooth look after seeing that aound the pool of the Hotel EVE in Cap d'Agde that all women have no or very little pubic hair, same walking aroung the seaside on the beach. As they are an open minded family, during breakfast at the hotel this morning she talked with her husband and her daughters that later this morning she will have her pubic hair removed completely. After she agreed to have a full pubic waxing done , the esthetician took a small electric razor to have the complete pubic mound shorn very short. This took little time and she gave her a mirror to look at the result. She was afraid to see her pubic mound just covered with stubble and, even without spreading the legs, her slit was slightly opened giving a partial view of her clitoral hood and inner lips, the outer lips hanging down the slit. The esthetician told her that after the waxing is finished the stubble will be gone and the skin will be completely smooth, she explained her that it is quite normal for middle-aged women that the slit is slightly opened, for example she had done the day before the pubic waxing of a mother and her daughter, she knows this family for many summers, the mother always asks for a complete waxing and after she has a large vaginal opening, her daughter around 16 was waxed in August 2024 also completely, before she asked to leave a landing stripe. The esthtetician told our friend that the reasons for pubic waxing also has changed over the years, in the past it were couples in the the swinger lifestyle who removed the pubic hair to give a better exposure of their intimate parts, some even wearing a sort of 'speculum' for a greater vaginal opening, these women were lying at the 'piggy beach' with opened legs. Nowadays for families with their children coming to the naturist resort, the women mostly remove their pubic hair completely for esthetical reasons, the average age also dropped, she has mothers with their daughters around 16 completely shaven.
