As I wrote in the past, in Luxemburg or in Germany (Trier), in spas, it is very common for women to shave their pubic hair. Some women, usually the younger ones, leave some larger or smaller stripe, all the others have a full shave including the pubic mound. Over the last 3-5 years it has become more and more popular. We also visited in August 2024, a large naturist resort (Cap d'Agde in South of France), in this resort full nudity is allowed in the entire resort and also respected by most visitors. The first morning at our arrival walking around the resort, we saw mostly couples ,families and solo men, no solo women. A lot of them spoke German or Dutch. We were 'surprised' at first to see that nearly all women, regardless if in couple or with their families, had no pubic hair. My wife Joelle had a neatly trimmed bush, more than the classic bikini line. We saw 3 beauty salons offering full pubic waxing for women and men. She decided to get an appointment at a beauty salon to have at least removed a larger part of her pubic hair. She asked the esthetician to remove all her pubic hair and just leave a stripe on the pubic mound. At first her pubic hair was shorn to stubble with electric clippers and then the was was applied, during the waxing the esthetician eplained her that it will look nicer when the pubic mound is also fully smooth., she agreed with it The waxing took +- 30 min, When she looked herself in a wall mirror in the salon she didn't liked it at first, She felt more nude as everything was visible, the outer labia and even a part of the clitoral hood. The esthetician explained her that in her opinion women removing all pubic hair are more self confident to show themselves nude in the resort, women keeping pubic hair are not fully nude in her opinion. She told Joelle that she will get used to it rapidly because nobody will stare at her in Cap d'Agde and it has become the norm over the last 6-7 summers.
