Maybe she wanted to be comfortable, but did she also enjoy teasing your friend a little bit? My wife has done similar with pajamas, and knows when she can be seen (no bra, no panties) and other times worn panties under her pj bottoms.
I’ve asked why she decided to wear panties or a tee shirt underneath on certain times and she told me it was because she knows her nipples and her pubic area are visible otherwise. So when she hasn’t worn those underneath when some friends or family staying over it means she didn’t mind them seeing.
Parading by in nothing but a towel in front of your friend? Sounds to me like she enjoyed titillating him. Wives aren’t unaware enough to think other men aren’t excited to see a woman nearly naked just because he’s your friend. Did you happen to find out if she was excited sexually after?
If my wife had done the same, I would have joined her in the bedroom right afterwards. It would not have stayed low-key.
