About 20 or so yrs ago, I made friends with some folks in a major midwestern city over a shared love of music. Turns out some of their local friends/acquaintances were involved in an 80's tribute band that was making the rounds. I just checked and this band is still active & gigging around, although I'm not sure at what level of success they've reached in this time.
But here's the interesting thing: back then, they were a little more liberal with what they would show on their website. Over the years, presumably to attract a more PG-rated audience (much like Vegas with their topless pools at the casinos), what they used to post freely and celebratory where their audience members' loose wardrobes were concerned has been tamped down and removed altogether.
Since I don't live in their neck o' the woods, I can neither confirm nor deny whether some of these shenanigans are still going on at their shows or not, but the fact remains that they used to!
