I was once sat my desk at work when I noticed a woman in her dressing gown on the roof terrace of a building nearby. She was working her way along a high washing line pegging up wet clothes. As she stretched up with both arms up to peg an item while facing me, the breeze blew open her robe below the cord round her middle. That gave me prolonged flash of her dark full bush. Quite a surprise for a boring work morning.

For reasons known only to herself, my forty-two year old wife walked stark naked in broad daylight on an open patio outside our holiday apartment at a busy family holiday complex in Greece. After coming back, she said to me that she didn’t realise we had neighbours. About to go in the shower, she’d gone outside in the nude to get a towel that she’d left drying on a railing about twenty feet away on the far side of the patio.

When she got part of the way across, she realised there was a man standing just a few feet away from her on the adjacent patio. She decided to pretend that she didn’t know he was there and just kept on walking. When she reached the towel she grabbed it and covered up. As she walked back, she tried to avoid eye contact with the incredulous man.

It wasn’t clear if he clocked her as she came out of the apartment, which would have given him a full-frontal view of her walking towards him. However, he definitely saw her from the side and rear as she walked past him and on to the towel. Maybe one day, he’ll write about on here. I’d love to know what he made of the incident.

I couldn’t believe that she’d do something so brazen. Even if there’d been no neighbours, our patio was visible from the windows of a multi-story block opposite on the other side of the main walkway through the complex.

Looking back now, she went through a reckless phase in her forties when she got caught out a few times. I do wonder if she got a buzz out of letting men seeing her naked. Not that I’m complaining, it was a fun time that I miss. Years later I tried to get her to do it again on a similar sized patio at a holiday hotel. She refused on the grounds that it was a family hotel. Not really a good excuse as it was outside school holidays. She’d grown out of her exhibitionism by then.
