My wife used to trim/shave the sides and top inch or so of her pubic hair to fit into some of her older bikinis, but now she just wears larger bottoms and doesn’t bother with trimming or shaving any bush. It used to be pretty much the same with my wife all those thirteen years she kept a full bush. I loved it. And she bought larger bikini bottoms as well. Her bush didn't extend along the thighs or up to her belly button either, it would normally just fit into the larger bottoms. In the past, before she started wearing larger bikini bottoms, she would sometimes shave the bikini line before swimming, and usually she would then shave her lips at the same time.
Last year she started going to the gym again and befriended a couple of other ladies. They were either fully shaved or had a landing strip and my wife really loved that look. She started talking to me that she wanted to try shaving again. I wasn't a big fan of the idea, but after a couple of months she still felt the same. I don't want to be the person telling her what to do with her body, so I said that if she really wanted it, I'm not gonna stop her, even though I love her bush.
End of January she shaved everything off, and has kept it bare ever since, apart from a few weeks in summer when she grew it out a bit to get a wax. She wanted to try that so that she wouldn't be bothered with shaving while on vacation. She liked the result of the wax, but didn't enjoy the feeling of growing back the hairs for three weeks.
