We stayed in an apartment in Rome a couple years ago. All the windows looked out on a large courtyard. Although the secondary bedroom had a window that was kitty corner to the apartment next door. You could see right into their tv room and a doorway to a bathroom. This must have also been a vacation rental because for the full week we were there I never saw anyone there until the last night. I slept in there as my snoring keeps my wife up. Suddenly the room was illuminated as the light from the window next door flicked on.
I glanced between the curtains and saw a couple who had clearly just arrived. They had luggage and must’ve just reached Rome for vacation. The tv was tuned to CNN so I know they were Americans or at least English speaking. I watched them settling in for a good twenty minutes. The wife was blonde, probably around 50 but pretty. I was ready to give up as they were just watching tv. Must’ve been suffering jet lag as it was near midnight local time.
Suddenly the wife stood and entered the doorway to the bathroom. She disappeared around the corner but my angle looked straight into the glass walled shower.
