It's funny...
I had a girlfriend who wore modest bikini's, but she usually went topless and sometimes she would pull her bikini bottom into her butt crack and roll it a little bit down as to maximize exposure to the sun.
She would do this too at hotel swimming pools. Not always, but often enough.
One day we saw a young girl wearing a thong bikini at the hotel swimming pool. She wasn't topless, and it was a regular thong bikini (not one of those ultra tiny see through ones you see online). My girlfriend had to make a negative remark, something like: "I can't believe she's wearing this! You cannot wear this in public! What an attention wh*r*!"
I had to bite my tongue (because it would probably lead to an argument).
But apparently it's okay to be topless at the pool and exposing your ass by pulling your bikini bottom into your butt crack, but wearing a thong bikini is a bridge too far!
