I know nudism is a bit different...but there's something to be said about my wife being more uninhibited around older gentlemen at the resort.
For one thing, I think she sees them as inoffensive, even "disarming."
She also assumes that being openly naked in front of them is a "gift", so to speak. Like it's going to "make their day."
Even with my first wife. Her first time at a nudist resort, she didn't really want anyone to see her naked and stayed covered almost the entire time. As we started getting ready to leave and were changing, an "older gentleman" (probably the resort owner), started talking to us. And much to my surprise, my wife proceeds to drop everything and engage in a lengthy conversation with him, completely naked. She later said it felt "ok" to let HIM see her completely naked.
