I think shaving became a thing in the 90s and certainly being shaved or trimmed to some extent has been normal for some time. Also nudist communities have been way ahead of the curve.

But my feeling is that it's been much more recently that there has been a tipping point where totally hairless has become the majority everywhere. I think it's the last 10 years.
