In the past we have posted pictures typical of our nudist living as young adults. Some of these described the activities at our parties. A few people have sent PMs asking for more details.

We were remembering the many birthday and event celebration parties that we had in the past. My sister and I grew up in a full time nudist home and all of our social gatherings at home were nude events. Our parents had befriended several other nudist families, some of which actually lived at the two nudist camps that we regularly visited. So there was never a shortage of guests that would attend our parties, and we could usually expect 20 to 30 guests. Except for the fact that everyone was nude there was no difference in our activities from any "textile" party. Only in a few rare instances did someone remain clothed. Compared to the textile parties I attended, ours guests were less inhibited and protectve of their image and we generally had a lot more fun.

At first our birthday parties were usually simple pool parties usually lasting less than a couple of hours. As we entered our young adulthood our parties had to be planned better. As in the textile parties we had plenty of guests but less supervising parents. Usually 12 to 15 guests and only 3 or 4 sets of parents, often just the mom. Our parties were planned in a way that everyone was actively involved. A supervising person would keep the action flowing, keeping idle guests occupied and out of trouble. Typical activities included swimming, sports games, visiting, dancing and party games. Food consisted of burgers and hot dogs, chips, melon slices, cake and ice cream. The format was one hour of sport games and swimming, then music and socializing while food was served. Then party games, music and dancing.

Most of our close family friends and guests looked forward to our parties and would arrive quite early to help setup. That usually involved blowing up balloons for decorations and game play, hanging decorative streamers, setting up the record player and selecting the music records and aranging the folding chairs. Although setting up involved a lot of horsing around, we had to work fast because, unlike most textile parties, everyone always arrived early.

After all of the guests had arrived we would be organized into teams to play one or more of the games listed below. There were more games but these are the main ones that we can remember. Teams could be 2 to 4 players each, depending on the number playing. When possible the 2 person teams were boy and girl. Most of the games only took a few minutes to play, so two or more rounds could be played.


THE PHYSICAL SPORT GAMES - WATER BALLOON

Musical Chairs, water balloon version. Same as regular Musical Chairs except players carry and protect a water balloon. If the balloon breaks or they are left standing they are out.

Water Balloon Toss. Underhand toss a water balloon to your team mate. If the balloon breaks they are out. If successful take a step back and repeat until only one pair remains.

Water Balloon War - Players carry and protect a water balloon while trying to break balloons of the opposing team. If the balloon breaks they are out.


THE PHYSICAL SPORT GAMES - AIR BALLOON

Hip Balloon Race - Team mates stand shoulder to shoulder and place a balloon between them at hip level. They race in an oval track, if the balloon pops or is dropped they are out.

Hug Till You Pop - Players are given 2 balloons. The designated popper stands as a team mate stands in front and puts a balloon between them, at stomach level or above. Then they try to pop the balloon by hugging. When it pops the next player is up and so on. The non-hugging players can helpe their team mates by pushing or hugging from behind. First team to pop all of their balloons wins.


OTHER PHYSICAL GAMES

Thigh Ball - Boy girl teams. Girls race with a tennis ball between their thighs. Boys of opposite team lay on ground as obsticles to make racers step over them. If their ball drops the team is out. If the racer passes the boy can run ahead to become an obsticle again.

Lipstick Tag - Boy girl teams. A girl holds a lipstick and tries to apply it to the face of a boy on the opposite team. The boy would try to pull her hand so that she actually applies it to her own face. Note: This game usually ends up with both players on the ground in a wrestling match.


NON-PHYSICAL GAMES

Charades - Clue giver selects a card with an item or place name. Players uses gestures, facial expressions, and body movements to convey the name of the item or place without speaking

I Spy - A spy is selected. The spy selects an item that everyone can see and announces the first letter of the item. Players must then guess the item. If no body guesses correctly the spy announces the second letter of the item ... and so on.

PERSONAL DILEMA

As a young nudist man I had learned to exercize a high level of self control due to the considerable amount of "accidental and incidental" contact with the girls' more desirable parts during the game play and dances. I could usually maintain a "soft profile" even during most of the sexualy stimulating situations. It was quite a challange, especially when slow dancing.

However, I sometimes it was impossible to supress an unexpected erection. The proper etiquette was to sit out and cover it up with your towel until it subsided. However, I was often called back into action ( game play, dance, helping out ) before it was fully subsided. In our circle of experienced nudists, having an involuntary or unintentional erection was tolerated and even ignored as long as you were discrete and it subsided in a reasonable amount of time. A sustained erection would have required the man to sit out a while. As far as I can remember that only happened a couple of times at our parties but never to me.
