Same.
My wife tried two nude beaches and disliked both experiences. She only got as far as topless both times. At one beach a drunk dude even had the audacity to tell my wife she should get completely naked and remove her bikini bottom. He might have well told her: "I want to see your pussy." She was "done" after that.
Luckily the AANR family-oriented resort provided a much more "stress-free" experience for her. The people were friendly, and no one made her feel like a "center of attention" (unless she chose to be). It was much easier to socialize and get comfortable naked around people, who were all naked themselves and practiced nudist etiquette.
The fact that my wife embraces full nudity while socializing at the resort; but can't "get there" at the beach speaks to the fact that "environment" matters. "Public" nudity is not for everyone.
