Years ago, I was raised just down the road from a gravel pit. About 50 or 60 acres. A couple hundred feet behind our house was an old railroad track. There was like a lagoon dug up to the edge of the tracks where at night, there were lots of parties in this small lagoon. Became known as party cove. We used to sneak back and down the tracks to the lagoon. On a good bright night, there were probably 15 to 20 girls and several guys skinny dipping, having sex on the beach area and lots of drinking. Always a good fire going and girls parading around the fire, usually naked. A couple of my buddies would sneak out and go spy on them. We actually knew some of them, locals.
Today, the tracks are gone, the gravel pits are all lake front homes and no more parties.
