She was a social smoker needing a cigarette or even a cigar when out for drinks; then first pregnancy came along and not another lung-full since. This was an evening after skinny-dipping in the hotel outdoor pool in chilly rainy weather with another couple who just happened to show up with the same idea late in the evening.
