My In-Laws, Bill and Mabel, were introduced to social nudism in 1950, soon after they married. At their new home Mabel introduced Bill to the concept of living nude at home, as she had in her youth. That summer they discussed trying social nudity. So they visited nearby Olive Dell nudist camp and immediately became regular members. Over the years they became avid home and social nudists and were nude whenever possible. Their two daughters, Becky and Julie, were born into this full time nudist environment.

Then it became the 1960s, the era of evolving social mores and behaviors, Free Love, Burn the Bra, and acceptance being the norm. As college professors they were right in the middle of it and developed very liberal attitudes regarding acceptable limits in social nudist behavior. Their definition of what constituted sexual behavior was greatly narrowed. Notably, they did not consider incidental or casual genital contact to be sexual, as long as it was not intended to result in sexual arousal.

Over the years they both had fantasized about couples at nudist gatherings engaging in sex. They both became sexually stimulated when they noticed someone observing them engaging in affectionate hugs or discrete genital petting. A few months previous they had given their daughters detailed "Birds and the Bees" lessons where they personally demonstrated various sexual acts. They admitted to each other that they had been highly aroused having sex for an audience. And they both enjoyed posing for the magazine photo shoots. They concluded that they were both exhibitionists and voyeurs.

Then in the mid 1970s they began to consider sexual contact outside of the marriage. They believed sex and love to be two distinct emotions and engaging in sex with others did not mean that they loved each other less. This would only be about mutual sexual enjoyment, not romance, love or emotional commitment. They rationalized that having sex with others was not infidelity or adultery because they had each other's encouragement and consent. They agreed that all of their sexual activities would be in full view of and knowledge of the other and afterwards to share their feelings of the events, thus avoiding jealousy.

To that point they had been monogamous since they married and viewed extramarital sex negatively. However, they had both had several lovers during their Navy and college years, before they met. Mabel described her past lovers as clumsy, amateurish, unsatisfying and largely forgettable. Bill had less past experiences, and admitted that Mabel's description fit him, too.

They consulted with a couple that was part of a "wife swapping" club. As exhibitionists and voyeurs they wanted a club where they could see and be seen engaging in sexual activity. They were assured that they could attend an event as a non-swapping couple, to see if they liked it. The parties were held at a "host" home and there were usually seven or eight couples attending. It was up to each couple to determine the level of participation they chose to have.

After consideration and debate they determined that this would be a "safe" environment for them to engage in sexual activities in the presence of others. In order to gain acceptance they agreed to interact with the other couples. But they would limit these activities to oral and manual sex, and not engage in intercourse. And as agreed everything would be in full view of the other.

During the "ice breaker" socializing period at their first party their host assured them that they would not be forced to do anything that they did not wish to do. And whatever the woman said was law. So after a tentative start they began mixing with the other couples. At that party they each had oral sex with four different people, one of which made Mabel reach orgasm. Then Mabel enjoyed riding Bill reverse cowgirl style as they watched three women lined up on a sofa, legs up, while two men took turns giving each several pumps. That was something Mabel had never imagined and now she wanted to try. They were both so pleased with their experiences at their first party that they mutually agreed to engage in intercourse with other couples at the next party.

The parties also had some very disappointing elements. Many of the women wore lingerie, stockings and even more clothing during the socializing period. Some of the women removed only their panties during the activities, keeping their stockings and bras on. It was the same for the men, most remaining fully clothed during the "ice breaker", getting bottomless still wearing a shirt during the activities. Unaware of the "dress code" Bill and Mabel were the only nudes during the "ice breaker", having arrived wearing only a bathrobe. At each party only half of the couples became nude during the evening.

A second disappointment was that after the "ice breaker" some of the couples would pair off and retire to private bedrooms for their sexual activities. Bill and Mabel's hope that the activities would all be in one room dashed. And after about an hour the parties tended to devolve into uncontrolled orgies, with some men masturbating as they watched their partner have sex with multiple men and women.

So, after their third party Bill and Mabel seriously discussed hosting their own parties. Addressing their exhibitionist and voyeur desires, their parties would be one where everyone could see and be seen engaging sexual activities. They would limit the guest list to four couples and required them to be nude at all times. So that their parties would not devolve into an uncontrolled orgy they opted to format their parties into a series of sex games with all guests simultaneously participating in the same sexual act. Refreshment and recovery breaks would be had between each event. The evening would climax with a final intercourse with ejaculation activity.
