What's going on? Look at 2013, when I first got interested in the WNBR. I'll pick a random post from that time, a chap posts ONE PHOTO from someone else's Flickr, not even an original post! WNBR 2023 only got 50 pages.
My post with the naked Indian lady gets only 15 thanks and this thread is barely on page 9!

All those posts will get thanks in good time. It’s not even night time in most of the US now and a lot of people were out doing things on a nice Saturday. I for one have only been on this thread for a few minutes yet. Also, there will be more interest in the older posts over time, especially after more good stuff comes in, which is almost always more than a few hours after London. We may never see mid-2010s levels again, but the level of engagement we see now is far closer to the beginning than the end.
