The very fact that there are members on this board that have done the research and know enough information (full name, workplace, locality) to track these women down IRL is, I think, something just about anyone would find terrifying were it to happen to them.

Unfortunately in this digital age that kind of tracing can be done with any picture of anyone available on the internet. Pandora's box can't be re-sealed. There are innumerable holes to be plugged in the dyke at this point.
