I once was driving naked in the middle of the night, out on a rural back road, and was starting to get low on gas. I finally came across a gas station that was actually open, and pulled in. I really didn’t want to get dressed just for this, so I decided to risk it and got out to pump. It was a dark cloudy night and the overhead lights at the pumps were so bright. It was like I was on a stage, standing in a spotlight for all to see. I didn’t see any employees take notice of me, but they might have been gawking at a security camera monitor I suppose. It was really intense, such a rush. I wish I had had the presence of mind to take a selfie at least but I was caught up in the moment. I think about that all the time.
