At 20 she was a doll.
She was the worlds greatest bar maid, working in a dive bar when I met her and usually dressed to maximize tips. She would shoot down any drink guys bought her but knew how to moderate and serve when drunk, always an entertainer. Bar owners typically replaced 2 and even 3 waitresses with just Connie. She made great tips.
The roof over her head was mostly an apartment shared by two roughnecks, oil rig guys who would work some bizarre schedule like three weeks on, then a week off, then three weeks on again. They worked opposite schedules, so were mostly not "home" at once. LOTS of drugs, she didn't much like either of them, and they didn't much like her either, just regarded her as a house mouse and something to use for sex when desperate. They usually had gals that they preferred there and she got to sleep on a couch or the floor, they didn't invite or involve her in threesomes or anything.
Sometimes she lived in an unused camper trailer at the back of her parent's couple of acres of property, no running water or electric, heat if her dad went soft and bought her a bottle of propane, often she just slept in abandoned cars.
She always had guys flocking around her like flies, she seemed to be pleasing them.
