Call me naive but I think the Loverboys clips are real which is why they're so compelling. I also think most of the Hungry Duck videos are real, but absolutely unwatchable quality. Dancing Bear is definitely staged but still enjoyable.
Agreed about the lack of modern footage. I keep thinking that something exists somewhere, but I'm just not on the right platform!
