When the PG-9 warhead is launched by it's jet powered motor, the force of the motor kicking in causes a weighted firing pin, held back with a spring that is compressed by that force, to strike a primer and complete an internal circuit. Then when the tip of the warhead collides with something, a fuse underneath the tip is crushed and sends a current through that internal circuit and sets off the explosives. Under normal circumstances it's impossible to detonate the explosives with these safety mechanisms in place, even with careless handling, unless the warhead has been screwed onto a motor and fired the proper way. But it's possible for a warhead to be defective straight from the factory, been improperly stored, or simply old and it's components have aged and failed. Any of these scenarios can result in the safety mechanisms no longer working to the point dropping or smacking the warhead too hard can set it off. It's still a stupid thing to use as a sex toy, especially when she did drop it on accident in this video.
