Perhaps it depends where you live. I know in the US this was one talking point for requiring paternity tests for every baby born. But that was a long time ago, and the idea has died off in time. Only those of us who are old enough might even remember this.

I'm not sure that the percentages is quite 50 percent, but I bet that it is pretty high. It would be an interesting survey for all of the mothers to take.
I'm not really sure that it has to do with income or ethnic groups. Back when I was young and single, I slept with many very wealthy married women. I also slept with regular and below average income married women. They were all white so I don't think that it really has anything to do with race like a lot of American TV shows would like for people to believe. (Don't get me wrong, if I could have gotten a hold of a sexy black lady, I would have done her too. lol)
It would also be interesting to know how many of those kids came from the husband's brother?
