I heard that one guy took like 500 shots before realising his memory card wasn’t even in the camera. I have no idea how as a photographer that is even possible (my camera always displays a quick preview to let me know it’s taken something). But yeah I’m amazed at how people take thousands of great pictures and then never share them. I understand charging for them, don’t get me wrong. But not giving them out at all is mad.
What’s annoying though is that people blame the photographers for a lack of female turnout. To me the lack of female turnout is CLEARLY due to excessive old wrinkly men at these events. Cameras are aphrodisiacs for exhibitionist women because thousands of anonymous people can marvel at them through the internet. They can fantasise about their favourite dark tall handsome hero seeing them in a vulnerable, beautiful, naked state. Generally, they don’t fantasise about the old men….
