Not happened to me or my family, but a story told by a female acquaintance...
She was in her bedroom enjoying her Sybian. It shorted out and started smoking. She unplugged it and got out a screwdriver to take it apart and see if she could fix it.
Her teenage son smelled smoke and came to see what the problem was. He walked in to see his mother naked standing over the Sybian with a screwdriver....(she was very attractive, by the way)
He just said "Go to bed, Mom".
