I'm in my sixties, and frankly only knew one woman who trimmed her bush at all. When I was playing the field in the 80s, shaved bushes were not common at all. I will confess that I would tie women up and after three or four times being tied up, I would often shave them while restrained. They'd always act shocked but mostly would maintain the shaving while we were together.
So ultimately, no real preference.
