This isn't dissimilar to my experience. We always had wildly different sex drives, mine being higher. I've always masturbated, whereas she rarely did, even when younger. As the decades have gone on, her interest has declined further.
She has always known that I masturbate. In years gone by, I'd often do it even at the end of a fucking session, as I felt the need for a second orgasm. Jealous of the wife having multiples? Despite her low sex drive she has always had a lot of orgasms, which seems a bit odd to me.
Because of her lack of interest, sex with the wife, is far less frequent than it used to be. Therefore, masturbation takes up the slack. She is OK with this. Recently, we have been far more open, talking about it.
