I did not shoot these but I did buy the tape from a guy who did while he was on vacation. Unfortunately he rec'd to tape in LP mode and not SP mode which drastically reduces the quality.

The vids in this link are from the same tape and capped at the lowest or next to lowest quality mpeg1. I think it's clear that the video quality on the newer vids are better. At least when it comes to playing them at full screen.
Sorry the files are so big. I was just trying to get the best quality for you guys with what I had to work with.
