But it only needs one to ruin your day or entire life.

It's probably easier to be naked in public if you thought you would be anonymous in the mass nudity and could, if necessary, plausibly deny it by laughing "Yes, she does look a bit like me". They might be naievely unaware of the power of tools like PimEyes and the power of adding names - even first names only.

I suppose a key question is: would any of these women (and their girlfriends) be more or less likely to take part in future WNBRs because of this? Is this killing the goose that lays the golden eggs?
Ultimately I saw plenty of women who covered their faces for the event, and plenty that didn’t, as has always been the case. I believe that these are two sorts of exhibitionists - carefree, loud and proud ones, and ones who get a massive thrill out of it but who are more shy and demure in their private lives. I believe that those who wish to show their face expect some level of public recognisability, perhaps even desire it, though I think we should refrain from having anything leave this forum and try to be as respectful as possible while understanding that when you take off all your clothes in some of the busiest streets in the world in front of complete strangers you know exactly what you’re doing and what you want to get out of the experience.
