Was it worth it?
I was a moderator on a since-closed, adult forum years ago and I understood that people might make mistakes because maybe they aren't used to sharing pics but they just wanted to contribute and participate and be a part of a community.
I generally sent a polite private message, thanking them for sharing, encouraging them to participate, and then notifying them of what they did wrong. I didn't need to be a goderator because that makes people want to leave. Also, simple common sense would have told me that people don't exactly have all the time in the world to crop and edit pics (or even know how) so they probably are just reposting something they found because they just want to participate. So there was no need to fuss, complain, and b*tch at people.
