In our earlier days my wife and I used to like to hike nude in the desert mountains east of San Diego. Sometimes at the DeAnza nudist resort, but mostly just in the open back country. There are many well marked trails and dirt roads to follow and we would usually do about 2 miles.

She always worried about running into other hikers but in all those times we never ran into or even noticed any other hikers ( or maybe they saw us first and avoided contact ).

We would always drive there and back nude. That way we could just jump into the pool to rinse off when we got home and, except for our towels, we had no sweaty clothes to deal with. When they started putting in the border check points we started dressing for the drive and hiked only at DeAnza so we could take as shower after the hike.
